تعد مادة القرآن الكريم والتربية الإسلامية من أهم المواد التي تُغرس في نفوس الطلاب منذ الصغر، لأنها تساهم في بناء شخصية متوازنة تقوم على القيم والأخلاق الحميدة. تعلم هذه المادة الطلاب المبادئ الدينية الصحيحة، مثل الإيمان بالله، وحسن التعامل مع الآخرين، والصدق، والأمانة، والرحمة. كما تساعدهم على فهم تعاليم الدين الإسلامي، وأداء العبادات بطريقة صحيحة، بالإضافة إلى غرس محبة القرآن الكريم وتعلم تلاوته وحفظه.
وتهدف مادة التربية الإسلامية أيضًا إلى تنمية الوعي الديني، وتعزيز الانتماء للأمة الإسلامية، وبناء جيل يتحلى بالأخلاق الفاضلة والسلوك القويم، مما يساهم في تربية أفراد مسؤولين وفاعلين في المجتمع.
